A memorandum of cooperation in the field of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the small and medium-sized business sector was signed between Uzpromstroybank and the international consulting company “Integration”

This agreement was reached within the framework of the project “Private sector development on green principles and economic consultations”, implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
This project, with the support of GIZ, is aimed at creating an environmentally sustainable environment for business in Uzbekistan. The main goal is to assist enterprises in a full assessment of the efficiency of resource and energy use in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, in the selection and processing of waste, in a special approach to wastewater treatment.
As part of the project, bank employees successfully completed educational programs in the direction of “green industrialization,” aimed at creating ecosystem services for business development and eco-industrial parks in Uzbekistan.
