Purpose of the loan:

Financing environmental and energy-efficiency projects, including:

  • generation of energy from renewable sources;
  • manufacture and acquisition of environmentally friendly vehicles;
  • improvement of building energy efficiency;
  • waste reduction and recycling;
  • prevention of air pollution;
  • acquisition of equipment for efficient water use and treatment;
  • conducting energy audits;
  • acquisition, manufacture, installation and maintenance of green technologies;
  • financing projects that comply with the national green taxonomy;
  • working capital financing for the activities listed above.

Maximum loan amount:

  • for investment projects — up to 70% of the project cost;
  • for working capital financing — up to 100% of the financing requirement.

Loan term:

  • for investment purposes — up to 60 months;
  • for working capital financing — up to 18 months.

Where financing is provided from funds raised by the Bank, the loan term is determined by the terms of the relevant funding source.

Grace period:

  • for investment purposes — up to 24 months;
  • for working capital financing — up to 6 months.

Where financing is provided from funds raised by the Bank, the grace period is determined by the terms of the relevant funding source.

Interest rate:

For loans in national or foreign currency — not lower than the Bank’s applicable interest rates for lending to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.

Where financing is provided from earmarked funds, the interest rate is determined by the terms of the relevant funding source.

Borrower’s own contribution:

At least 30% of the investment project cost

Method of disbursement:

By transferring the funds to the bank account of the supplier of goods, works or services

Loan repayment:

Principal is repaid monthly after the end of the grace period using either the annuity or declining balance method. Interest is paid monthly

Loan security:

In accordance with the requirements of the Bank’s credit policy

Additional requirement:

Following project commissioning, the borrower must provide an opinion issued by an authorised body or organisation confirming a reduction in harmful emissions or an improvement in energy efficiency


For working capital financing:
  • Completed loan application.
  • Borrower’s constitutional documents.
  • If the borrower’s founders are registered outside the Republic of Uzbekistan — the constitutional documents and powers of attorney of the foreign company’s representatives, duly legalised or apostilled. Where required, the documents must be translated into the state language and the translation must be notarised.
  • Copies of the passports of the director and/or chief accountant authorised to sign documents, together with documents confirming their authority.
  • Resolution of the borrower’s authorised governing body approving the loan.
  • Copy of the relevant licence if the borrower’s activities require a special licence.
  • Copy of the special economic zone participant certificate if the project is being implemented within a special economic zone.
  • Balance sheet and statement of financial performance for the preceding two reporting years — Forms No. 1 and No. 2.
  • Information on account turnover at other commercial banks for the preceding year and, where the borrower has obligations recorded in Card Index No. 2, details of the outstanding debt.
  • Copies of contracts for the supply of goods, performance of works or provision of services to be financed with the loan proceeds.
  • If the supply chain involves counterparties registered in Russia, Belarus or Iran — a favourable opinion from an appropriate international law firm confirming that the counterparties are not included in international sanctions lists.

The loan is available to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan between 18 and 65 years of age.

For investment projects:
  • Completed loan application.
  • Borrower’s constitutional documents.
  • If the borrower’s founders are registered outside the Republic of Uzbekistan — the constitutional documents and powers of attorney of the foreign company’s representatives, duly legalised or apostilled.
  • Copies of the passports of the director and/or chief accountant authorised to sign documents, together with documents confirming their authority.
  • Resolution of the borrower’s authorised governing body approving the loan.
  • Copy of the relevant licence if the borrower’s activities require a special licence.
  • Copy of the special economic zone participant certificate if the project is being implemented within a special economic zone.
  • Cadastral documents and/or a lease agreement confirming the location where the borrower operates and the project will be implemented.
  • Balance sheet and statement of financial performance for the preceding two reporting years — Forms No. 1 and No. 2.
  • Breakdown of accounts receivable and accounts payable for the latest reporting period.
  • Information on account turnover at other commercial banks for the preceding year and, where the borrower has obligations recorded in Card Index No. 2, details of the outstanding debt.
  • Project feasibility study.
  • Copies of contracts for the supply of goods, performance of works or provision of services to be financed with the loan proceeds.
  • An opinion on import contracts in the cases and manner prescribed by the Bank’s requirements.
  • If the supply chain involves counterparties registered in Russia, Belarus or Iran — a favourable opinion from an appropriate international law firm confirming that the counterparties are not included in international sanctions lists.
  • Where required — technical specifications for connection to engineering and utility networks.
  • Where required — an environmental impact opinion issued by the authorised government authority.

Basic Eligibility Requirements
Eligible borrowers:
• legal entities classified within the corporate customer segment;
• customers holding a primary or secondary account with JSCB Uzpromstroybank.
Financial requirements:
• no overdue loan debt owed to commercial banks;
• neither the borrower nor its related companies may have debt classified as “substandard”, “doubtful” or “loss”;
• no losses or illiquid balance sheet;
• Debt/EBITDA ratio not exceeding 4 for working capital financing;
• during the preceding 60 months:
– no more than 10 instances of payments overdue by more than 30 days;
– no more than 5 instances of payments overdue by more than 60 days.
Additional requirements:
• no outstanding balance under existing loans used for purposes other than those specified in the relevant loan agreements;
• the equipment being purchased must be supplied by a manufacturer or dealer with at least 6 months of operating experience;
• the supplier must guarantee the complete installation of the equipment being purchased;
• all other requirements are determined in accordance with the Bank’s credit policy.
