Uzpromstroybank took part in the 31st conference of the WHO European Regional Commission, which was held in Samarkand from September 30 to October 4, 2024. This five-day event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the World Organization for Animal Health (WHOH) has become a platform for discussing topical issues of the environment, public health, and animals. The participants focused on the threats of climate change, water scarcity and global food security.

The conference participants shared their experiences, proposed solutions to the underlying problems of reducing the impact of climate change on the environment, public health, and animals, and developed a strategy for adaptation to changing conditions. The methods of rational use of water resources in animal husbandry and the development of technologies that minimize water consumption were discussed. The importance of preserving biological diversity and sustainable development of animal husbandry for ensuring food security in the world was also emphasized. 

During the conference, discussions were held on modern methods of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the spread of animal diseases in the region, strengthening control over international trade in animals and livestock products, and expanding the activities of veterinary laboratories.
