Uzpromstroybank continues to expand green spaces

During the spring season of this year, Uzpromstroybank planted more than 90 thousand fruit and ornamental plants throughout the Republic.

The Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 sets the task regarding planting at least 200 million tree bushes annually within the framework of the national project “Yashil makon”, ecology and environmental protection, and improvement of the ecological condition of cities and districts.

The national “Yashil makon” project is being implemented at the initiative of the President of the country.

As part of the project, the bank planted 90 thousand tree seedlings in the spring season of this year, as well as 76 thousand bushes of ornamental and fruit trees and shrubs as part of the “Dolzarb 40 kunlik” campaign in the autumn period.

The bank's team also planted 5.5 thousand almond bushes on 11 hectares of land in the mountainous and foothill zone of the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region, and also created a “Green garden” (Yashil bog‘) in the capital’s mahalla “Barkhayat” by planting 200 bushes of fruit trees.

It should be noted that landscaping works are actively continuing in the areas where the bank's buildings and facilities are located.

During planting, special attention is paid to the selection of seedling varieties resistant to dehydration and drought, suitable for climatic conditions.

Individual specialists are involved in the care of planted seedlings, and advanced technologies for drip irrigation of green spaces are being installed.
