Moody’s assigns a “Ba3” rating to Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank (SQB)

International rating agency Moody’s has assigned SQB a long-term credit rating of Ba3 with a positive outlook.
 
This result reflects the effectiveness of ongoing reforms in the country’s banking and financial sector, the special attention and support provided by the Government, as well as the Bank’s stable development, active presence in international capital markets, and its ESG initiatives.
 
As of October 1, 2025:
 • Net profit: USD 115.3 million (+73%)
 • Total assets: USD 7.8 billion (+13%)
 • Return on equity (ROE): 17.4%
 
The rating assigned by Moody’s will further enhance SQB’s international reputation, strengthen investor confidence, and expand the Bank’s ability to attract financial resources on favorable terms for local businesses.
 
Moody’s rating stands as a symbol of trust, stability, and a significant step toward new international opportunities.
