Short official name: JSCB “Uzpromstroybank” (Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank)
JSCB “Uzpromstroybank” is one of the oldest financial institutions in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Its history dates back to 1922, with the establishment of the Central Asian Branch of the Industrial Bank in Tashkent.

JSCB “Uzpromstroybank” was originally founded in 1922 as the Industrial Bank. In 1991, it was transformed into a joint-stock commercial bank. In 2009, the bank was renamed as the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank “Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank” (JSCB “Uzpromstroybank”).
Subject and Purpose of Banking Activities:
The Bank is a legal entity and a commercial organization engaged in a combination of activities, including the opening and maintenance of bank accounts, execution of payments, acceptance of deposits, and issuance of loans in its own name—classified as banking operations.
Banks may conduct financial operations as authorized by their banking license.
The subject of banking activities includes money, foreign exchange assets, and other financial instruments. Effective execution of the functions of money constitutes the core of banking activity.
The Bank is a profit-oriented commercial organization, acting independently in making decisions on banking operations. It operates as a universal bank and is part of the unified banking system of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
