Cooperation with Tajikistan’s financial institutions expands

On June 14 this year, Tashkent hosted a meeting with the delegation of Amonatbonk State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan led by the Chairman of the Board Ikromi Sirojiddin Salom.

Issues of cooperation and further expansion of possibilities of the Cooperation Agreement signed between the banks during Uzbekistan – Tajikistan business forum in August 2018 were discussed at the meeting.

The sides noted the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation in correspondent relations and trade finance for promoting mutual trade between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan.

It should be noted that JSCB Sanoat Qurilish Bank (Uzbekistan Industrial and Construction Bank) has also established partnership with OJSC Orienbank and OJSC Bank Eskhata, within which the first transactions in the amount of 5 million USD on financing the export of JSC Uzbek Metallurgical Plant’s products were carried out.

In addition, the banks reached agreements not to be limited to the available results and expand cooperation in long-term financing, international settlements, clearing and payment instruments.
