
Microcredit for Business Activities and the Purchase of a Passenger Transport Vehicle

The loan is available to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who are at least 18 years old and no older than 60 on the date of application.

Purpose of the microcredit:
— conducting business activities
— purchasing a vehicle for passenger transportation
Microcredit amount:
— up to UZS 30 million
— up to UZS 300 million for the purchase of a vehicle
Microcredit term:
— up to 36 months
— up to 60 months for the purchase of a vehicle
Interest rate:
— 25% per annum
— part of the interest expense may be reimbursed by Entrepreneurship Development Company JSC under the Mahalla loyihasi programme
Grace period:
— up to 3 months
— up to 6 months for the purchase of a vehicle
Repayment method:
— annuity payments in equal instalments
— declining balance payments in progressively smaller instalments
Microcredit security:
For business activities:
— personal guarantees from up to 2 individuals
— credit default risk insurance
For the purchase of a vehicle:
— the purchased vehicle pledged as collateral
Security requirements:
— at least 125% of the microcredit amount
— at least 133.3% for the purchase of a vehicle
Method of disbursement:
— credited to the borrower’s bank card
— transferred under a purchase and sale agreement when purchasing a vehicle
Additional terms:
— applications under the Mahalla loyihasi programme must be submitted through the oilakredit.uz platform
— to qualify for reimbursement, the borrower must be registered as self-employed and pay social tax
— if reimbursement is declined, the borrower must pay the loan interest in full
— another microcredit may be obtained once the current outstanding balance has been repaid in full
the borrower must be a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
the borrower must be between 18 and 65 years of age, inclusive, on the date of application;
the borrower must have verified income sufficient to make monthly principal and interest payments;
the borrower must have no overdue debt;
the borrower’s credit history for loans and microloans will be reviewed for the preceding 24 months;
the debt burden ratio must not exceed 50%;
the total outstanding principal under consumer loans and/or microloans must not exceed eight times the borrower’s average monthly income.
The Bank determines the borrower’s average monthly income based on supporting documents and available data, including:
salary information for 6 consecutive months, excluding periods of annual leave. If income was not received during a particular month, funds credited to the borrower’s bank card during that month may be taken into account;
information on pension payments;
information on funded pension contributions;
information on taxes paid, including data from the individual’s annual aggregate income tax return;
funds credited to bank accounts, including bank cards, over 6 consecutive months;
other information confirming income that is permitted under applicable law.
The borrower’s income is calculated net of taxes.
For borrowers engaged in seasonal work, income received continuously for at least 3 months during the preceding 6 months may be taken into account.
