Official Statement by JSCB Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank

14.10.2026 09:48

Social media users have raised concerns about the commission charged for cash withdrawals from bank cards issued by Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank (SQB) under payroll projects.

In this regard, we would like to provide the following information on the Bank’s current tariffs and the procedure for applying them:

The commission for cash withdrawals from cards issued under payroll projects depends on the payment system of the card and the withdrawal method.

Cash withdrawals at SQB cash desks:

– cards of local payment systems – 1 percent;

– cards of international payment systems – 0.5 percent.

Cash withdrawals at SQB ATMs:

– cards of local payment systems – 1 percent;

– cards of international payment systems – 0.4 percent.

These tariffs are set taking into account the costs associated with cash handling and bank card transactions. In particular, accepting, counting and sorting cash, maintaining cash desks and ATMs, and transporting and safeguarding funds all involve certain costs. In addition, settlements with payment systems for bank card transactions entail extra expenses.

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Banks and Banking Activity”, the amount of commission for banking operations is determined by the bank independently. Relations between banks and customers are governed by contracts.

At the same time, the legislation sets out requirements for protecting the rights of consumers of banking services and for disclosing information about services.

Under the Bank’s “Public Offer Agreement on Opening and Servicing Credit and/or Debit Bank Cards for Individuals”, customers can obtain information on current tariffs, any changes to them and new services on the Bank’s official website.
