Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank Received Multiple International Awards in the Field of Small and Medium-Sized Business

During the Awarding ceremony organized by “The Digital Banker” — one of the world’s leading publications in global finance and investment - Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank was honored with two prestigious global awards: “SME Financier of the Year” for its contribution to financing small and medium-sized enterprises, and the “Outstanding Digital CX – Mobile Banking” award for delivering innovative mobile banking services. In addition, bank received several other regional and national recognitions.
Today, corporate clients and individual entrepreneurs can carry out a wide range of operations via the bank’s online platform and mobile application SQB Business. These include domestic and foreign currency payments, currency exchange, payroll processing, corporate card top-ups, obtaining official statements, and deposit placement all remotely. The number of users of the platform has increased fivefold, reflecting strong client trust and recognition.
In 2025, bank aims to further strengthen the quality and efficiency of services for small and medium-sized enterprises through SQB Business and to expand the range of remote services. Planned innovations include the introduction of new digital products and services such as online lending, online account and corporate card opening, POS terminal ordering, and full registration and management of export-import contracts.
It is also worth noting that SQB Mobile, the bank’s mobile application for individuals, has become one of the most advanced banking solutions in the Uzbek market. The app offers users a broad range of services available 24/7.
Currently, the number of active users of the application has increased from 164,000 to 600,000, while daily users have grown from 35,000 to 132,000. This year, the bank also plans to introduce new and user-friendly digital products, including refinancing of existing loans on favorable terms, as well as the launch of a “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL) service.
